Langford Lake Boat Launch

About
Langford Lake Boat Launch provides access to the 470-acre Langford Lake in the Bessemer Ranger District of Ottawa National Forest in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The lake offers fishing opportunities for various species. Historical USFS records reference a "Langford Lake Camp" at this location, but the site is not currently listed among Ottawa National Forest's 23 active campgrounds. The restroom facilities are marked as closed and no potable water is available. The site functions primarily as a boat launch rather than a maintained campground. The area is accessible via Forest Road 6757, reached by traveling east from Marenisco on US-2 for approximately 10 miles, then following FR 7100 and county roads to the lake.
Directions
From Marenisco, travel east on US-2 approximately 10 miles, turn right onto FR 7100, travel approximately 6.5 miles to CR 527, turn left onto CR 527 and travel approximately 1 mile to CR 531, continue east on CR 531 approximately 1 mile to FR 6757, travel approximately one tenth of a mile to the launch.
