About

Henry Lake Campground sits on the southern edge of Michigan's Ottawa National Forest in Gogebic County, roughly 9 miles southwest of Marenisco. The 7-site single-loop campground is tucked into natural vegetation that provides screening between sites, creating a peaceful atmosphere. Each drive-in site accommodates tents, trailers, or motorhomes and includes an accessible picnic table, fire ring, and parking spur. The campground has centrally located vault toilets and a hand-pump well for potable water. An adjacent boat ramp provides free lake access, and an accessible 8' × 144' fishing pier extends into the lake. Usage is typically light, making this an appealing spot for solitude seekers. The campground operates first-come-first-served with no advance reservations. Campers are limited to 14 consecutive nights before relocating for 24 hours. Each site allows up to 8 people and 2 motorized vehicles, with a maximum of one RV/trailer plus two tents or three tents. Generators are prohibited during quiet hours (10pm-6am).
