About

Lake Gogebic State Park Campground is situated on Michigan's Upper Peninsula along the western shore of Lake Gogebic, the largest inland lake in the region. The campground offers 105 modern campsites with electrical hookups, 22 semi-modern sites, and one tiny house rental, with approximately 30 sites positioned directly on the lakefront and others nestled among the trees. The park serves as an ideal basecamp for exploring the western Upper Peninsula, with nearby attractions including Bond Falls, Agate Falls, Presque Isle River, and the Porcupine Mountains. The campground features modern amenities including flush toilets, shower buildings, a sanitation station, and pull-through sites suitable for larger RVs. A two-mile scenic nature trail loops through the property, and the park offers a paved boat launch capable of handling crafts of all sizes. The buoyed swim area provides safe access to the lake, while anglers can pursue walleye, perch, smallmouth bass, and northern pike. Additional facilities include a picnic area, reservable picnic shelter, playground, and vault toilets in the semi-modern section.
