About
Pine Park Dispersed is a designated dispersed camping area located in the Pine Valley Ranger District of Dixie National Forest near Enterprise, Utah. This remote site sits in a striking landscape of white sandstone formations, including distinctive beehive-shaped rock spires that rise among ponderosa pines. The area is known for its geological features, with undulating white rocks that create a unique desert-mountain environment. The camping area is accessed via Forest Service Road 001 (also called White Rock Road or FR30004), approximately seven miles south of Enterprise. The road is maintained crushed gravel. Being a dispersed camping area, no facilities or services are provided, and campers must be completely self-sufficient. The site offers exceptional solitude, as it receives relatively few visitors compared to more popular destinations in southern Utah. Pine Park is surrounded by trails including the South Boundary Trail and White Hollow Trail, offering hiking opportunities through the distinctive white rock canyons. The area provides a primitive camping experience for those seeking seclusion and natural beauty in a less-visited corner of the Dixie National Forest.
Directions
From Enterprise, Utah, head west and turn left on Forest Service Road 001 (White Rock Road/FR30004). Follow the road south for approximately 7 miles to reach the Pine Park designated camping area. The road is maintained crushed gravel.
