About

Pine Park Dispersed is located within the Pine Valley Ranger District of the Dixie National Forest in southwestern Utah's Washington County. As a designated dispersed camping area, it provides a backcountry camping experience without the amenities of developed campgrounds. The area offers solitude and access to the surrounding forest landscape. This is primitive camping with no facilities provided. Campers must bring their own water supply and pack out all trash and waste. Human waste should be buried in a cathole at least 6 inches deep and 200 feet from any water source. Campsites must be positioned at least 150 feet from any designated route and 200 feet from streams or water sources. A 16-day stay limit applies, after which campers must relocate at least 10 miles away. The area is free to use with no reservations required. Check current fire restrictions before building any campfire, as conditions in the Pine Valley area can result in fire bans during dry periods.
