About

Cathedral Gorge State Park Campground provides 22 developed campsites nestled in a tree-shaded area within one of Nevada's most geologically unique state parks. Each site includes a picnic table, grill, and shade ramada, with electric hookups available. The campground features flush restrooms with showers and water access, all open year-round. The campground serves as an excellent base for exploring the park's dramatic landscape of cathedral-like spires and cave-like formations carved from layers of volcanic ash deposited tens of millions of years ago. The park offers extensive hiking opportunities, including trails that wind through slot canyons and connect to Miller Point overlook, providing stunning views of the buff-colored cliffs and geological formations. A visitor center located at the park entrance offers interpretive displays and is open daily from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Two handicapped-accessible campsites are available in the group area with accessible restroom facilities. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with a 14-day limit within any 30-day period.
