Gunlock State Park sits on the shores of Gunlock Reservoir in southwestern Utah's stunning red rock landscape. The campground has been upgraded to offer 30 modern campsites, each equipped with electric and water hookups, covered picnic structures, and firepits. Clean restroom facilities with flush toilets and hot showers serve the camping area, and a dump station is available for RV users. The park's warm summer waters and mild winter climate make it a year-round destination for outdoor recreation. Visitors enjoy boating, fishing for crappie, bluegill, largemouth bass, and catfish, swimming at the day-use beach, and exploring the scenic reservoir. When flows are sufficient, the park's waterfalls create a magical backdrop to the red rock setting. The park is open daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with seasonal boat ramp hours. Gunlock State Park provides a peaceful escape from busier regional destinations while remaining convenient to Greater Zion area attractions. Adjacent BLM lands offer miles of dirt roads for off-road exploration. The campground also features three cottages available for nightly rental with a two-night minimum. Reservations are available through the Utah State Parks system.

From St. George, take Old Highway 91 north to Gunlock Road. Turn west on Gunlock Road and continue approximately 6 miles to the park entrance at 1450 S. Gunlock Road, Gunlock, UT 84733.
