Honeycomb Rocks Campground
Closed — Closed for the season. Opens mid-May through late September.
About
Honeycomb Rocks Campground is located approximately 10 miles from the town of Enterprise in Dixie National Forest at 5,700 feet elevation. The campground derives its name from the surrounding volcanic tuff rocks that create distinctive honeycomb-like formations throughout the area. The facility offers 21 developed campsites, each equipped with a picnic table, fire pit, and tent pad. The campground provides vault toilets, potable drinking water, and garbage disposal service for campers. All sites operate on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations. A group picnic area is available through the concessionaire. The maximum stay is 14 days, and quiet hours are enforced between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. Enterprise Reservoir is located adjacent to the campground, offering a boat ramp for both motorized and non-motorized watercraft. Recreation opportunities include fishing, boating, hiking, wildlife viewing, and sightseeing. Dogs are permitted but must remain on leash. OHV and ATV use is prohibited within the campground boundaries, though the area provides access to nearby ATV trail systems.
