About

Beaver Dam State Park Campground sits within a 2,393-acre park adjacent to the Utah border, showcasing some of Nevada's most primitive and rustic natural beauty. The park features dramatic volcanic and sedimentary rock outcrops, pinyon-juniper and ponderosa pine forests, and spring-fed streams with waterfalls along Beaver Dam Wash. The remote location and lack of development make this an ideal destination for campers seeking solitude and a true backcountry experience. Two developed campgrounds offer individual campsites, each equipped with a fire pit, picnic table, and parking suitable for one vehicle and a small trailer. Vault toilets are available year-round, while drinking water is only operational from April through November. There are no hookups, showers, or dump station, and campers must pack out all trash. A group use area with a shade ramada accommodating 60 people and horseshoe pits is also available. The park provides excellent opportunities for hiking, fishing in the stocked reservoir, and wildlife viewing. Access roads are unpaved and can become impassable during winter weather, so travelers should check conditions before visiting during colder months.
