About

Pine Lake Campground is situated at 8,100 feet elevation on the Colorado Plateau in Dixie National Forest, adjacent to the scenic Pine Lake. The campground is surrounded by a forest of spruce and towering ponderosa pines, with beautifully forested peaks banded with red and white layers of sandstone providing a striking backdrop. The facility offers 28 family campsites and 4 group sites, all with picnic tables and fire rings. Accessible vault toilets are provided throughout. A well-maintained gravel road leads to the campground, providing good access for cars and RVs. The Pine Lake OHV Trailhead is located adjacent to the campground with a loading ramp, though OHVs are not permitted within the campground itself except for ingress/egress to group sites and select family sites. Pine Lake offers excellent canoeing, kayaking, and fishing for rainbow, cutthroat, and brook trout. Motors are allowed on the lake, and a concrete boat launch is available. Bryce Canyon National Park is approximately 30 minutes away, while Kodachrome Basin State Park is about an hour's drive.
