About
North Campground offers prime positioning within Bryce Canyon National Park, located directly across from the Visitor Center and within walking distance of the General Store. At approximately 8,000 feet elevation, the campground is shaded by towering ponderosa pines with sites scattered across gently rolling terrain dotted with shrubs and summer wildflowers. The campground contains 100 sites divided into four loops. Loops A and B feature paved parking spurs and accommodate RVs and trailers, while Loops C and D have gravel spurs reserved exclusively for tent campers and small camper vans. Each site includes a fire grate and picnic table. Flush toilets are available year-round, and drinking water is provided seasonally. A dump station near the campground operates mid-May through mid-October at no additional charge for registered campers. Coin-operated showers and laundry are available at the nearby General Store during the warmer months. The campground's central location provides easy access to Sunrise and Sunset Points at Bryce Amphitheater, where the park's famous orange and red hoodoos create exceptional hiking and photography opportunities. The free park shuttle, running mid-April through mid-October, stops at the campground, eliminating the need to drive during peak season when parking is restricted for vehicles over 23 feet.

From Highway 89 approximately 7 miles south of Panguitch, Utah, travel east on Highway 12 for about 14 miles. Turn south on Highway 63 to the main entrance of Bryce Canyon National Park. North Campground is the first left turn after passing through the fee station.
