About

North Campground is located in Bryce Canyon National Park, known for its colorful rock spires and sweeping vistas across the High Plateaus region of the Colorado Plateau. At approximately 8,000 feet elevation, the campground sits in a ponderosa pine forest offering sun and shade among a gently rolling landscape dotted with shrubs and summer wildflowers. The campground features 100 sites in four loops. Loops A and B accommodate RVs with paved roads and paved parking spurs, while Loops C and D are designated for tents with gravel parking spurs. Each site is equipped with a picnic table, fire ring, and grill. The campground has flush toilets available year-round, and potable water is available seasonally. A dump station operates from mid-May through mid-October, weather permitting. During spring, summer, and fall, shower and laundry facilities are available at the nearby general store. North Campground provides walking access to the Visitor Center and is near Sunrise and Sunset Points at the heart of Bryce Amphitheater. The area offers extensive day-hiking trails ranging from easy to strenuous, with popular routes combining multiple interconnected trails. The park's free shuttle service stops at the Visitor Center from mid-April through mid-October. As a designated Dark Sky Park, Bryce Canyon offers exceptional stargazing with 7,500 stars visible on moonless nights.
