The campground serves as an excellent base for fishing and non-motorized boating on Philbrook Reservoir, with a car-top boat launch available nearby. The area is known for trout fishing and peaceful paddling opportunities. Each campsite is equipped with a bear box for food storage, reflecting the active wildlife in the area. The campground also features handicap accessible facilities. This is a fee campground located in the DeSabla Watershed area near Paradise, California. The remote mountain setting provides a quiet retreat, though visitors should be prepared for primitive conditions typical of higher elevation forest campgrounds.
