About

Pavilion B Group Site is a large group campground located in a high mountain valley just above Joes Valley Reservoir at an elevation of 7,000 feet in the Manti-La Sal National Forest. The campground sits in an open sagebrush landscape with a few cottonwood trees lining the lakeshore and aspen and pine trees dotting the surrounding hillsides. While there are no trees or natural shade in the immediate campground area, a large pavilion provides shade over the picnic tables. The group site can accommodate up to 100 people and features vault toilets and a large gravel parking area with ample space for vehicles, RVs, and tents. The reservoir offers excellent fishing opportunities for cutthroat, rainbow trout, and trophy splake, with a boat ramp located nearby at Joes Valley Campground. Water skiing, boating, and canoeing are popular activities on the lake. The expansive Arapeen OHV Trail System, accessible just west of the reservoir, provides more than 350 miles of designated, well-maintained trails suitable for all riding skill levels. The area also offers opportunities for horseback riding, hiking, and mountain biking. Joes Valley Resort is nearby, offering a restaurant, general store, and rentals for boats, personal watercraft, off-road vehicles, and bikes.
