About

Little Bear Group Campground is located in beautiful Huntington Canyon along the Huntington Canyon National Scenic Byway on Utah Highway 31, approximately 13 miles west of Huntington. At 6,500 feet elevation, the campground offers a shaded setting among pines and junipers with Huntington Creek flowing alongside. The campground features two group sites: Site A accommodates up to 50 people with 15 vehicles and can fit RVs up to 35 feet, while Site B accommodates up to 30 people and RVs up to 25 feet. Both sites have picnic tables and campfire rings with grills. Vault toilets are available, but there is no potable water, so campers must bring their own water supply. Trash must be packed out. Huntington Creek is a Blue Ribbon fishery offering excellent fishing for brown, cutthroat, and rainbow trout. The 4-mile Left Fork of the Huntington National Recreation Trail and the 10-mile Fish Creek Trail provide opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. The nearby historic Stuart Guard Station Visitor Center offers exhibits on 1930s ranger life and Civilian Conservation Corps projects.
