Pattison State Park Family Campground provides 59 campsites in a wooded setting within this 1,400-acre park in northwestern Wisconsin. The campground offers 18 sites with electric hookups, while all sites feature picnic tables and fire rings. A sanitary dump station is available, though individual sites do not have water or sewer hookups. Flush toilets and shower facilities operate during the summer camping season, with accessible facilities available. The park's centerpiece is Big Manitou Falls, Wisconsin's highest waterfall at 165 feet and the fourth highest waterfall east of the Rocky Mountains. Little Manitou Falls, a 31-foot twin waterfall, is also located within the park along the Black River. Over nine miles of hiking trails wind through the park, offering stunning waterfall views and access to diverse habitats. Interfalls Lake features a 300-foot beach for swimming. The park supports nearly 200 bird species and 54 mammal species, making it an excellent destination for wildlife observation. The Gitche Gumee Nature Center houses interpretive displays about the park's geology, history, and wildlife. Three backpack campsites are also available approximately 1.6 miles from the parking area for those seeking a more remote experience. The park is open year-round from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily, with camping available throughout the year.
