About

Amnicon Falls State Park Campground provides a quiet, rustic camping experience in Douglas County, Wisconsin. The 36 campsites include one ADA-accessible site and two walk-in sites located 100-150 feet from the parking area. All sites are shaded by tall trees and include fire rings and picnic tables. Vault toilets and drinking water are available, but there are no electric hookups, showers, or dump station. Generators are prohibited. The park's main attraction is a series of delightful waterfalls and rapids along the Amnicon River, accessible via approximately 2 miles of riverside trails and the historic Horton Covered Bridge. The campground includes a swing set, sandbox, and large field for family activities. Reservations are made through wisconsin.goingtocamp.com and can be booked up to 11 months in advance. Check-in is at 3 p.m. and check-out at 1 p.m. A Wisconsin State Parks vehicle admission sticker is required for entry.
