For the Small Craft Advisory, northwest winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt and waves 2 to 5 ft. * WHERE...Duluth MN to Sand Island WI to Bayfield WI. * WHEN...For the Heavy Freezing Spray Warning, until 10 AM CST this morning. For the Small Craft Advisory, until 10 PM CST this evening. * IMPACTS...Operating a vessel in heavy freezing spray is hazardous. Freezing spray may render mechanical and electronic components inoperative. Rapid ice accretion on decks and superstructures may result in a catastrophic loss of stability. Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

This includes the Tribal Lands of the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation, the Red Cliff Band, the Bad River Reservation, the northwestern area of the Lac du Flambeau Band and the St. Croix Band in Burnett County. Other locations including the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore and Madeline Island. * WHEN...Until noon CST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 31 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.

Other locations including Voyageurs National Park.
