Managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the campground provides 95 sites spread across several loops including Pintail, Ringneck, Woodduck, Shagbark, Maple, Sweetgum, Hickory, and White Oak. Sites vary between electric-only (74 sites) and electric/water hookups (23 sites), with long-term camping available in the Maple and Sweet Gum loops. The campground features flush toilets, hot showers, potable water, and a dump station. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. Playgrounds are located at the campground entrance and White Oak loop. The adjacent North Sandusky Day Use Area provides a boat ramp, two reservable picnic shelters, and a disc golf course. Recreational opportunities extend well beyond the campground. The Rend Lake Bike Trail offers over 20 miles of paved pathways through woodlands with lake views.
