About

Nat Caldwell Park is a quiet day-use area operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on Old Hickory Lake near Gallatin, Tennessee. The park sits in the headwaters of Station Camp Creek, providing calm waters perfect for launching kayaks and canoes directly from the shoreline without needing a boat ramp. The facility centers around a reservable group picnic shelter with electric hookup that can accommodate up to 50 guests, with parking for approximately 25 vehicles. Open grassy areas and grills make it suitable for family gatherings, reunions, and similar events. Fishing is available from the shoreline. This is a day-use only facility with no overnight camping permitted. Those seeking overnight accommodations should consider nearby Corps campgrounds on Old Hickory Lake such as Cages Bend or Cedar Creek, which offer full camping amenities.
