About

Cedar Creek Campground is a US Army Corps of Engineers facility on Old Hickory Lake, a 22,500-acre reservoir on the Cumberland River in Wilson County, Tennessee. Located about 20 miles east of downtown Nashville near Mt. Juliet, the campground provides easy access to Music City while offering a quiet lakeside retreat. The campground has 60 standard electric sites, all with water and 50-amp electric hookups on gravel pads. Each site includes a fire ring and picnic table. Modern amenities include flush restrooms with hot showers, laundry facilities, and a dump station. Many sites can accommodate large RVs up to 45 feet, though site widths vary and some are tight for larger rigs. Recreation centers on Old Hickory Lake with its 440 miles of shoreline. The campground has a swim beach and boat ramp. Fishing, sailing, and wildlife viewing are popular activities; the area is home to migratory songbirds, waterfowl, white-tailed deer, and wild turkeys. Nearby attractions include Andrew Jackson's home The Hermitage and the Shutes Branch Mountain Bike Trail.
