About

Cedar Creek Campground sits on the shores of Old Hickory Lake, a 22,500-acre reservoir on the Cumberland River in north-central Tennessee. The campground offers 60 sites with water and electric hookups, modern amenities including hot showers and laundry facilities, and a swim beach. The surrounding area features shady wooded areas and grassy flatlands along 440 miles of scenic shoreline. Recreational opportunities include sailing, fishing, boating, and wildlife viewing. The area attracts migratory songbirds, waterfowl, white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, and rabbits. A playground and group picnic shelter accommodate families and gatherings of up to 50 guests. Day-use facilities include a picnic shelter available for reservation on most weekdays. The campground is located just beyond the Nashville metropolitan area, providing convenient access to Music City attractions including the Country Music Hall of Fame and Andrew Jackson's historic Hermitage estate. The Shutes Branch Mountain Bike Trail is located minutes from the park.
