About
Bledsoe Creek State Park Campground occupies a scenic peninsula jutting into Old Hickory Lake, approximately 30 miles northeast of Nashville. The campground provides 58 paved campsites, all equipped with water and electric hookups, fire rings, grills, and picnic tables. Forty-four sites offer 50/30/20-amp service and can accommodate rigs over 20 feet, while fourteen sites with 30/20-amp service are suited for smaller setups under 20 feet. Three primitive hammock-only campsites sit behind the main campground for those seeking a more rustic experience. The campground features two modern bathhouses with heat and air conditioning, hot showers, and flush toilets. A dump station and coin-operated laundry facility operate year-round. Firewood and ice are available for purchase. The park includes a boat ramp, fishing pier, playground, and hiking trails including the Shoreline Trail which follows the lake's edge. Reservations can be made up to one year in advance through the Tennessee State Parks reservation system. Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out at 12:00 PM. Maximum stay is 14 consecutive nights, extended to 28 nights from December 1 through February 28/29. A non-refundable $5 reservation fee applies to each site.
