Bledsoe Creek State Park Campground is located on 164 acres along the Bledsoe Creek embayment of Old Hickory Lake near Gallatin, Tennessee. The park offers a well-developed main campground with 68 sites: 58 paved and 10 gravel sites, all equipped with water and electric hookups, fire rings, grills, and picnic tables. Forty-four sites have 50/30/20-amp service and accommodate rigs over 20 feet, while fourteen sites with 30/20-amp service are suited for smaller rigs. Three ADA-compliant sites are available. Two bathhouses provide heated and air-conditioned facilities with hot showers, and a laundromat and dump station operate year-round. For those seeking a more primitive experience, the park offers three hammock-only sites behind the main campground. These walk-in sites accommodate up to six hammocks each and include picnic tables and fire rings, with parking 20 to 50 yards away. Firewood and ice are sold on-site. The park sits on Old Hickory Lake, providing opportunities for boating and fishing, and features over 4 miles of hiking trails through the wooded property.

Directions

From Nashville, take I-65 North to Exit 95 for Vietnam Veterans Blvd (TN-386). Continue on TN-386 to Exit 9 for US-31E N toward Gallatin. Follow US-31E N for approximately 6 miles, then turn right onto TN-25 E. After about 3 miles, turn right onto Zieglers Fort Road. The park entrance will be on your left after approximately 1.3 miles.
