Milo McIver State Park sits along the scenic Clackamas River near Estacada, offering a convenient camping destination just 45 minutes from Portland. The 53-site campground is nestled in a densely wooded area providing ample summer shade and features a mix of hookup and tent camping options. The main campground loop includes 44 sites with electric and water hookups, while 9 separate tent sites are available for traditional camping. One ADA-accessible site (A10) accommodates campers with disabilities. The park provides excellent recreational opportunities across its diverse landscape of river, forest, and fields. Nine miles of multi-use trails wind through the park for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. The Clackamas River offers fishing and boating access, while the park is also home to a popular disc golf course. Three group tent sites (Kingfisher, Chinook, and Steelhead) accommodate larger gatherings, with Kingfisher hosting up to 100 people. During summer months, the park offers family-oriented interpretive programs including guided hikes and nature crafts. Campsites include picnic tables and fire pits, and the campground provides flush toilets, hot showers, and an RV dump station.

Directions

From Estacada, Oregon, head southwest on Highway 211 for approximately 1 mile. Turn west onto S Hayden Road and continue for 1.3 miles. Then, turn northwest onto S Springwater Road and proceed for 1.2 miles to reach the park entrance.
