About

Three Bears Campground occupies a scenic grove of western red cedar trees approximately 4 miles south of Glen Avon Bridge in the Molalla River Corridor Recreation Area. The campground provides access to the Molalla Wild and Scenic River, one of the few undammed tributaries of the Willamette River, which carves a picturesque gorge through the surrounding terrain. A beautiful cobble beach and swimming hole are accessible from the campground. The 15 tent-only sites are walk-in style with centralized vehicle parking offering two spots per campsite. Each site includes a tent pad, metal fire ring, BBQ grill, and picnic table. Vault toilets are available on-site, though campers must bring their own drinking water as the nearest potable water source is a hand pump at Cedar Grove campground, located one mile east. Firewood is not available on-site and collection is prohibited, so visitors should bring their own. Reservations must be made in advance through Recreation.gov or the Recreation.gov mobile app. No cash, checks, or cards are accepted on-site. The Hardy Creek Trailhead is the closest access point for hiking and biking, and the Table Rock Wilderness lies further up the canyon.
