Miller Flat Reservoir Campground

Miller Flat Reservoir Campground is located in a scenic high mountain valley near Miller Flat Reservoir at an elevation of 8,500 feet in the Manti-La Sal National Forest. The campground rests in a stand of aspen and spruce trees providing partial to full shade throughout the day. Visitors enjoy fishing and canoeing at the reservoir, horseback riding in the surrounding area, and exploring extensive off-road vehicle trails. The campground offers three double family sites available on a first-come, first-served basis, plus one group site that can be reserved through Recreation.gov. Each site includes picnic tables, fire rings, Dutch oven fire pans, and utility tables. A vault toilet is located approximately 50 feet from the sites. This is a primitive campground with no potable water, electricity, sewer, or garbage service. Campers must pack out all trash. Nearby attractions include Potters Ponds, Cleveland Reservoir, Huntington Reservoir, and Skyline Drive. The expansive Arapeen OHV Trail System with over 370 miles of designated trails can be accessed directly from the campground by riding north or south along Miller Flat Road. The Left Fork of Huntington National Recreation Trail is located 1.5 miles north of the campground.

Directions

From Fairview, Utah, turn east onto 400 North and continue straight onto UT-31 for approximately 18.2 miles. Turn right onto Miller Flat Road (Forest Road 50014) and travel approximately 4 miles to Miller Flat Reservoir. The campground is south of the reservoir roughly 0.5 miles.
