Cleveland Reservoir Campground is a high-elevation primitive campground located along Utah's Energy Loop Scenic Byway on top of the Wasatch Plateau in the Manti-La Sal National Forest. Situated at approximately 9,000 feet, the campground sits adjacent to Cleveland Reservoir, a 136-acre lake that the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources stocks with rainbow trout. Two miles up the road, Huntington Reservoir offers tiger trout fishing. The campground features 7 first-come, first-served sites including 5 single sites and 2 double sites. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table. Vault toilets are provided, but there is no potable water, hookups, or garbage service. Campers must pack out all trash. On-site payment is available via QR code using the Recreation.gov mobile app or traditional fee tube. The area is a hub for off-highway vehicle recreation, sitting on the north end of the Arapeen OHV trail system and adjacent to the Lake Canyon Trail System with its 12 miles of trails accessible to riders of all skill levels. Electric Lake is nearby for boating and water skiing. The broad mountain valley setting features stands of aspen and pine with summer wildflowers filling the meadows.

Directions

From Fairview, UT travel east on Highway 31 for approximately 18 miles. From Huntington, UT travel northwest on Highway 31 for approximately 29 miles. Turn onto Cleveland Reservoir Parking Road #3202 and travel 0.2 miles to the campground.
