About

Middle Inlet Group Day Use Area sits on the eastern shore of Pineview Reservoir within the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, about 2 miles north of Huntsville, Utah. This reservable day-use facility is designed for group gatherings such as weddings, company picnics, and family reunions, with capacity for up to 75 people and parking for up to 20 vehicles. The site features a large picnic shelter, 12 picnic tables, grills, a dutch oven cooking surface, serving tables, and a concrete site pad surrounded by a large gravel parking area. Vault toilets are provided. There is no potable water on site, so visitors must bring their own supply. Cottonwoods and pines dot the area, offering limited shade in this grassy, open setting. From the shelter, visitors enjoy scenic views of Ogden Valley, Pineview Reservoir, and surrounding peaks. Popular activities include boating, swimming, fishing, and water skiing on the reservoir, though there is no boat ramp at this site. An on-site host is available during the operating season.
