Anderson Cove Campground is a well-developed facility on Pineview Reservoir in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. Located at 5,000 feet elevation in scenic Ogden Valley, the campground features manicured lawns lined with shade trees and offers direct access to excellent water recreation including swimming, water skiing, kayaking, and fishing for bass, panfish, and pike. The campground operates as a high-security facility with paved roads and spurs, overhead lighting, lit restrooms, and on-site hosts. The main gate locks at 10 PM nightly with a tire ripper preventing unauthorized entry. Amenities include a boat ramp, swimming beach, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, dump station, and a small store selling ice, firewood, and convenience items. Accommodations include tent-only sites, standard single and double family sites accommodating up to 45-foot RVs and trailers, five group sites for up to 100 people, and yurt rentals. Two group sites are ADA accessible. Dogs are permitted in camping areas with a 6-foot leash and 2-dog limit but are prohibited on the beach and day-use areas.

Directions

From Ogden, Utah, take State Route 39 (12th Street) east through Ogden Canyon. Continue about 8.3 miles to the campground sign and turn left.
