Open — Open for winter camping on a first-come, first-served basis through Loop A. Reservable sites operate May 25 through September 20, with first-come, first-served camping September 21 through October 30. Gate closes nightly at 10 p.m. Stay limit is 7 days.

About

Anderson Cove Campground is a popular, high-standard facility located on the banks of Pineview Reservoir in Ogden Valley, approximately 10 miles east of Ogden, Utah. The campground sits at 5,000 feet elevation and features manicured lawns lined with shade trees. Paved roads and spurs provide easy access throughout the facility. The campground offers 58 single sites, 9 double sites, triple sites, and 4 group sites accommodating up to 100 people. A swimming beach extends from the campground for day use, with volleyball courts and horseshoe pits available. The on-site boat ramp provides excellent access to Pineview Reservoir, known for water skiing, fishing for bass, panfish, and pike, plus kayaking and canoeing in quieter coves. Security is a priority with an entry station where all campers check in, security lighting throughout, nightly gate closure at 10 p.m., and regular law enforcement patrols. Firewood, ice, and convenience items are available for purchase from the campground host. A dump station and pay phone are on-site, with a cafe and gas station located half a mile away.

Directions

From Ogden, take Highway 39 (12th Street) east through Ogden Canyon. Continue about 8.3 miles to the campground sign and turn left.
