Open for the 2026 season, operating April through September. Some sites are reservable via Recreation.gov; others are first-come, first-served. Maximum stay is 14 days within a 60-day period.
Alcohol Prohibitions
This Order describes acts that are prohibited upon lands, roads and trails within the National Forest System administered by the Forest Service Pacific Northwest Region in regards to alcoholic beverages.
Aquatic Invasive Species
This Order prohibits 1) possessing, storing, or transporting any aquatic invasive animal species AND 2) prohibits possessing, storing, or transporting any aquatic or riparian invasive plant species - on National Forest System lands in the Pacific Northwest Region as specified in the Order.
Restrictions on Use of Forage and Mulch Products

About
McKenzie Bridge Campground is located in the Willamette National Forest along the scenic McKenzie River at an elevation of 1,200 feet. The campground features 20 well-spaced campsites nestled beneath a towering grove of Douglas fir and Western red cedar trees, with all sites offering riverfront access. Vault toilets, potable water from hand pumps, picnic tables, and fire rings are provided at each site. A boat ramp is located on-site for kayakers, canoeists, and rafters. The McKenzie River offers excellent catch-and-release fishing for trout and steelhead, and the rapids in various sections make it one of Oregon's most popular whitewater rafting destinations. The McKenzie River National Recreation Trail begins nearby, providing 26 miles of scenic hiking and biking along the river suitable for all ages. Osprey, great blue herons, and bald eagles are commonly spotted along the waterway. The campground is located less than one mile west of the community of McKenzie Bridge on Highway 126. Restaurants and Tokatee Golf Course are within a few miles. Sites accommodate tents and trailers up to 35 feet.
Directions
From Eugene, take Highway 126 east for approximately 55 miles. From the community of McKenzie Bridge, travel west on Highway 126 less than 1 mile to the campground on the right side of the highway.
