Alcohol Prohibitions
This Order describes acts that are prohibited upon lands, roads and trails within the National Forest System administered by the Forest Service Pacific Northwest Region in regards to alcoholic beverages.
Aquatic Invasive Species
This Order prohibits 1) possessing, storing, or transporting any aquatic invasive animal species AND 2) prohibits possessing, storing, or transporting any aquatic or riparian invasive plant species - on National Forest System lands in the Pacific Northwest Region as specified in the Order.
Restrictions on Use of Forage and Mulch Products
This Order prohibits unloading, storing, or using any straw, hay, grain, seed, or other forage or mulch products that are not state-certified weed free on the National Forest System lands, roads or trails in any Closure Area as specific in the Order.

Portion of Forest Service Road 1003 (Tom Creek Road) closed
A portion of Forest Service Road 1003, also known as Tom Creek Road, is closed. The road closure starts at the junction of FSR 10 and FSR 1003 and includes the first 4.1 miles of FSR 1003 to the junction with the 1003-416 and 1003-409 roads.
Sno-park Permits required Nov. 1 to Apr. 30
Sno-Park Permits are required to park in designated sno-parks from November 1 through April 30. Sno-Park Permits are managed by the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT).

Carmen Reservoir Closure
To protect the health and safety of the public: due to heavy machinery and construction equipment traffic, the following area is closed: the footprint of Carmen Reservoir, from the center of the reservoir up to the high-water line and extends to the spillway area to the southwest and Forest Road

14 Day Stay Camping Limit

About
Lookout Campground sits on the northeast shore of Blue River Reservoir within the Willamette National Forest, accessible via the West Cascades National Scenic Byway. This rustic campground offers a more informal camping experience with approximately 20 undesignated single sites spread across a beautiful open meadow with plenty of sunshine. The flexible layout makes it particularly popular for group camping, though only four designated picnic sites exist. Some sites include tables and fire rings, while others are more primitive. The facility provides basic amenities including vault toilets, drinking water from a hand pump, and firewood for sale. An on-site host is available during operating season. The campground area features gravel roads and can accommodate trailers up to 40 feet. The adjacent day use area includes a paved parking lot, concrete boat ramp with floating dock, and overflow parking, making this a popular access point for Blue River Reservoir. Campers enjoy fishing, boating, swimming, and water skiing on the reservoir. Nearby hiking includes Buck Mountain Trail and Lookout Creek Old Growth Trail. Hot springs are located within 10 miles. The reservoir serves as flood storage in winter months, which can affect water levels. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis year-round, with some sites available for reservation from mid-April through Labor Day.
Directions
From Blue River, travel 3 miles east on Highway 126 to Forest Road 15. Turn left and proceed 4 miles on Forest Road 15 to the north side of Blue River Reservoir. Lookout Campground is on the left.
