About

Mahogany Cove Campground is nestled in a scenic grassy meadow along the Beaver Canyon Scenic Byway in Fishlake National Forest, approximately 11 miles east of Beaver, Utah. At an elevation of 7,200 feet, the campground is partially shaded by stands of mahogany, pinion, juniper, and ponderosa pine trees, with views of the Tushar Range. The campground contains seven sites that can be reserved as a group site (accommodating up to 150 people and 20 vehicles) or used individually on a first-come, first-served basis when no group reservation is in place. Each site includes a picnic table, fire ring, and grill. The first site features several picnic tables, a large grill, and a campfire circle. Vault toilets and potable drinking water from a hand pump are provided during the operating season. Fishing for rainbow and brook trout in the Beaver River is a short drive below the campground. The Beaver Canyon Scenic Byway offers 17 miles of scenic driving through the Tushar Mountains, and numerous hiking and mountain biking trails are accessible from the area.
