About

Little Cottonwood Campground provides a comfortable base for exploring Fishlake National Forest near Beaver, Utah. Located along the scenic Beaver River at 6,500 feet elevation, the campground features well-shaded sites beneath cottonwood, aspen, pinion, juniper, and ponderosa pine trees. All 14 paved campsites include picnic tables and fire rings/grills, with an accessible flush toilet restroom serving the campground. Recreation opportunities abound, with stream fishing available directly from an accessible fishing path within the campground. The nearby Cottonwood Trail offers hiking and horseback riding access through rugged terrain southwest toward Horse Flat. The Piute ATV Trail is also accessible nearby, though ATVs must be trailered to designated trailheads as there is no direct access from the campground. Two ADA-accessible sites are available for reservation. The campground accommodates RVs up to 40 feet but has no hookups. Potable water is available from a hand pump during the operating season.
