About

Kents Lake Campground occupies a scenic forested setting at 8,800 feet elevation in Utah's Fishlake National Forest. The campground sits adjacent to Kents Lake, a 50-acre reservoir stocked with brown, brook, and rainbow trout. Sites are nestled among aspen and conifer stands providing varying levels of shade, from light dappled sunlight to full canopy coverage. The campground offers 28 single-family sites and 2 multiple-family sites, with configurations ranging from back-in to pull-through. Sites accommodate trailers and RVs from 24 to 60 feet in length. Every site includes a fire ring or grill and picnic table. Drinking water is available from hand pumps throughout the campground, and two vault toilets serve campers. There are no hookups or dump station on site; the nearest dump station is in Beaver. Fishing is the primary draw, with trout catchable from shore or small non-motorized boats launched at the lake. Trailheads to the Piute ATV trail are nearby, though direct access from the campground is not available. An old rock building on site can be used for group programs or shelter. The campground is managed by High Country Recreation under a Forest Service concession permit.

Directions

From Beaver, Utah, travel east on UT-153 for approximately 10 miles. Turn right onto Forest Road 137 and continue for about 5 miles. The campground will be on the right.
