Little Beaver Campground sits at 5,060 feet elevation on the southeastern shore of Little Grass Valley Reservoir in Plumas National Forest, approximately four miles from La Porte, California. As the largest campground at the reservoir, it offers 120 sites organized into three loops, with a combination of reservable and first-come, first-served availability during normal operations. Each campsite includes a picnic table, fire ring, bear box, and paved parking pad. The campground features paved roads, flush toilets, potable water faucets, and trash service. An overflow parking area accommodates trailers and extra vehicles. A seasonal campground host is present during the operating season. The location provides excellent recreation access with an adjacent swimming beach, the Maidu Boat Launch, Blue Water Beach Day Use Area, an amphitheater, and the Lakeshore Trail. The reservoir supports a wide range of water sports and fishing opportunities.

Directions

From La Porte take Main Street/Quincy La Porte Rd approximately 1.8 miles, continuing forward on Little Grass Valley Rd. In approximately 1 mile turn right onto Old Little Grass Valley Rd. Travel approximately 3.5 miles to campground.
