About
Lee Thomas Campground offers a secluded camping experience along the North Fork of the Wild and Scenic Sprague River in Oregon's Fremont-Winema National Forest. The seven campsites sit among lodgepole pine trees with rock outcroppings and riparian meadows characterizing the surrounding landscape. All sites are close enough to hear the river riffling by. This primitive, no-fee campground provides basic amenities including picnic tables, fire grates, and a single vault toilet. The campground sees light use, making it ideal for those seeking solitude. River and stream fishing and wildlife viewing are popular activities. Just one mile east of the campground lies the Lee Thomas Trailhead, which accesses Deadhorse Rim Trail #139. The campground is approximately 90 minutes southwest of Paisley or northeast of Bly via a series of Forest Service roads.
