Kyle Canyon Campground is located in the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area, approximately 23 miles from Las Vegas along Highway 157. Set at a moderate elevation in an open forest of ponderosa pine, mountain mahogany, and Gambel oak, the campground provides partial shade with manzanita and wild roses dotting the landscape. A seasonal stream runs alongside the area, which parallels the highway. The facility contains several single and double-family sites, four of which are ADA-accessible. Each site is equipped with a picnic table, campfire ring, and grill. Roads and parking spurs are paved. Flush toilets and potable water are provided on-site. During the warm season, the facility operates as both a campground and day-use picnic area. In colder months, it functions primarily as a day-use area, though it may remain open for snow play as weather permits. The campground is near Fletcher Canyon Trailhead and Fletcher View Campground, providing access to numerous hiking trails in the area. The Spring Mountains Visitor Gateway is located nearby, offering guided hikes and educational programs. Sites operate on a first-come, first-served basis with variable pricing for weekdays versus weekends.

Directions

From Las Vegas, travel north on US-95 to the junction of NV-157. Turn left and travel approximately 18 miles. Campground is on the left side of the highway.
