About

Jacob Lake Group Campground is located at the intersection of US 89A and AZ 67, serving as the gateway to the Grand Canyon's North Rim. The campground features two group sites (GSA and GSB) set among towering Ponderosa pines at 7,920 feet elevation. Each group site accommodates up to 100 people with room for 30 vehicles, making it ideal for family reunions, scout troops, or organized group outings. The facility includes vault toilets and potable water, though no hookups are available. Both group sites feature pull-through gravel driveways that can accommodate RVs and trailers up to 60-100 feet. Campfires are permitted and pets are welcome on leash. A separate group picnic area is available for day use only. Jacob Lake Inn, located across the street, provides a restaurant, gas station, gift shop, and limited groceries. The Kaibab Plateau Visitor Center is also nearby. The area offers excellent hiking opportunities including a one-mile loop trail from the campground and access to the Arizona Trail.
