Hyrum State Park

Closed — The campground is open year-round. Reservations are available April 1 through October 31 via ReserveAmerica. Outside this period, campsites are first-come, first-served. Flush restrooms and the fish cleaning station are winterized for the season; a dry restroom is available.

Hyrum State Park, established in 1959, encompasses 265 acres surrounding a 450-acre reservoir in Cache Valley near Hyrum, Utah. The park is best known as a year-round fishing destination, offering bass, trout, perch, bluegill, and newly introduced wipers. The Lakeview Campground features 32 paved campsites along the reservoir's north shore, each with a picnic table and access to restrooms and showers. During summer months, the park provides excellent opportunities for boating, waterskiing, and swimming at the beach. The park includes one boat ramp and a fish cleaning station at the main entrance. Campsites are available for tents, RVs, and trailers, though hookups are not provided at individual sites. The park also offers two cabins and one large group site that accommodates up to 100 people. Positioned roughly 20 minutes from downtown Logan, Hyrum State Park serves as an ideal base camp for exploring the area's many hiking, biking, and OHV trails while maintaining convenient access to local amenities. Park hours are 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, with the park sitting at 4,700 feet elevation in the scenic Cache Valley.
