Hueston Woods State Park Group Campground provides primitive camping for organized groups along the scenic shores of Acton Lake in southwest Ohio. The facility accommodates up to 125 people and offers a back-to-nature experience without electric hookups. Each site includes a fire ring and picnic table, with vault-style latrines serving the group area. While the group camp itself is primitive, campers have access to modern amenities at the main campground nearby, including flush toilets, showers, and laundry facilities. A dump station is available for RV users. The park features extensive recreational opportunities including hiking and mountain biking trails, fishing, swimming, and boating on the 625-acre Acton Lake. Group reservations must be made at least 14 days prior to arrival by contacting the park office directly. The campground operates year-round with an off-peak season from November 1 through April 1. All camping is limited to 14 consecutive days within a 30-day period.
