About

Lost Creek Group Campground provides a dedicated group camping experience within Lassen Volcanic National Park at 5,700 feet elevation. Located five miles south of Manzanita Lake along the main park highway, the campground sits near the Lost Creek and Devastated areas. The setting features large ponderosa pines creating a pleasant woodland atmosphere. The campground contains eight group sites, each designed for 10-25 people with parking for up to 6 vehicles or one bus/RV. Every site includes three picnic tables, three fire rings, and three bear-proof food storage lockers. Vault toilets and seasonal potable water are available. RVs and trailers up to 40 feet are permitted. There are no hookups; the nearest dump station is at Manzanita Lake Campground. The location offers excellent access to park highlights including Manzanita Lake for catch-and-release fly fishing, numerous hiking trails, the Loomis Museum, and Lassen Peak. The Manzanita Lake area provides additional amenities including a general store, showers, and kayak rentals.
