About
Bridge Campground is a developed camping area in Lassen National Forest, located on the east side of Highway 89 approximately four miles north of Old Station, California. Situated along scenic Hat Creek at 4,000 feet elevation, the campground offers a classic mountain forest camping experience with each site equipped with a picnic table, fire ring, and barbeque grill. The campground provides access to the Fishermen's Trail, which runs adjacent to Hat Creek and travels 4.25 miles between Bridge Campground and Cave Campground. This makes it an ideal base for anglers targeting the wild trout in Hat Creek. Vault toilets are available on site, though campers should note that no potable water is provided and must bring their own supply. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with a 14-day stay limit. Cash or check payment is required, and Interagency Senior/Access Recreation Passes provide a 50% discount on the nightly fee.
