About

Headwaters Campground at Flagg Ranch occupies a prime location in the John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Memorial Parkway, the narrow corridor connecting Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. Situated along the upper Snake River amid rolling conifer forests and wildflower meadows, the campground provides easy access to both parks. Polecat Creek runs nearby, offering opportunities to spot moose, elk, beaver, and bears. The Snake River provides excellent fishing for cutthroat trout, brook trout, and whitefish. The campground features 34 tent sites with bear-proof food storage lockers, 97 full-hookup RV sites with pull-through access and 20/30/50-amp electric, water, and sewer connections, plus 40 rustic camper cabins with bunk beds but no electricity or private restrooms. All sites include a picnic table and fire pit with metal grate. Facilities include flush toilets, complimentary showers, and coin-operated laundry. The on-site Headwaters Lodge offers a convenience store, gift shop, propane sales, and Sheffield's Restaurant and Saloon. Nearby attractions include Huckleberry Hot Springs (2.5-mile loop trail), Flagg Canyon Trail along the Snake River, and scenic drives through Grand Teton. Yellowstone's south entrance is just two miles north. Cellular and WiFi service is limited throughout the area.
