About

Hanging Rock Campground is a scenic BLM-managed campground located just off Highway 21 in Beaver County, Utah. All six campsites sit directly alongside the Beaver River, providing easy access to year-round fishing opportunities that many consider the best in the county. The surrounding landscape features rocky, rolling hills with views of both the Mineral and Tushar Mountains visible from short hikes or drives in either direction. This is a primitive campground with basic amenities. Each site includes a fire ring and picnic table, and sites 1, 2, 5, and 6 have pavilions providing shade. Vault toilets are available, but there is no potable water so campers must bring their own supply. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Nearby recreation opportunities include the Paiute ATV Trail and Beaver Bench Mountain Bike Trail System in Beaver. The river also supports activities like tubing and swimming in addition to fishing.
