About
Halls Crossing RV & Campground is a year-round destination located on the remote shores of Lake Powell within Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. Managed by Aramark as a concessionaire, this facility offers two distinct camping options: 31 reservable pull-through RV sites with full hookups that accommodate rigs up to 60 feet, and 41 primitive tent sites available on a first-come, first-served basis. The RV park features paved roads and sites, complete with water, electric, and sewer hookups at each space. The primitive campground provides a more rugged experience while still offering access to flush toilets and showers. Both areas include picnic tables and either fire pits or charcoal grills at each site. Shared amenities include laundry facilities, showers, a dump station, and a village store where campers can check in, purchase supplies, and gather information about the area. The campground serves as a gateway to Lake Powell's stunning red rock landscapes, offering opportunities for boating, fishing, hiking, and photography. Located on Utah Highway 276, the facility is accessible year-round by automobile, though visitors should note that the ferry connection to Bullfrog Marina is not operating due to water levels. The area experiences a desert climate with hot summers exceeding 100°F and winter temperatures that can drop to freezing.
Directions
