Bullfrog RV & Campground sits within Glen Canyon National Recreation Area on the shores of Lake Powell in southern Utah. Operated by Lake Powell Resorts & Marinas, the facility serves as a base camp for boaters, anglers, and desert explorers visiting this remote corner of the Colorado Plateau. The campground is divided into two sections: a 24-site RV park with full hookups and approximately 80 dry camping sites on concrete pads suitable for tents and self-contained RVs. The RV park offers 18 pull-through spaces and 4 back-in spaces, all with 30-amp electric, water, and sewer connections, accommodating rigs up to 50 feet. The dry camping section operates first-come, first-served with self-serve kiosk payment. Both areas share access to flush restrooms, hot coin-operated showers, potable water, a dump station, charcoal grills, fire rings, and picnic tables. A seasonal camp store, laundry facilities, post office, and boat launch ramp are located within half a mile. The surrounding landscape is classic high desert with dramatic red rock formations and expansive views across Lake Powell. Summer temperatures regularly exceed 100°F while winters can drop to freezing. The Bullfrog area provides access to popular Lake Powell destinations including Defiance House ruins and countless slot canyons along the reservoir's shoreline.
