About

Greenville Campground is a small, quiet Forest Service campground located at 3,500 feet elevation in Indian Valley, just one mile north of the historic town of Greenville, California. The campground features 17 sites spread along Wolf Creek, shaded by evergreen trees with ferns, grasses, and seasonal wildflowers. A shallow creek meanders behind the campground, adding to the peaceful atmosphere. The campground provides basic amenities including vault toilets, water spigots, fire rings, and picnic tables at each site. A dumpster is provided for trash disposal. Single sites accommodate up to 6 people and 2 vehicles, while double sites can handle 12 people. The campground was not directly impacted by the Dixie Fire and retains its mature tree canopy. Lake Almanor is just nine miles away, offering excellent boating, swimming, fishing, and kayaking opportunities. Round Valley Reservoir is even closer at five miles, with additional fishing and bird watching. The nearby towns of Greenville, Crescent Mills, and Taylorsville provide groceries, gas, dining, and antique shops. Lassen Volcanic National Park is a scenic 47-mile drive away.
