About
Granite Creek Campground is a large wooded campground nestled in the valley between high mountain peaks very near to the Gros Ventre Wilderness in the Bridger-Teton National Forest. The campground is located next to designated Wild and Scenic Granite Creek, offering excellent fishing opportunities right next to the campground. The popular Granite Creek Hot Springs is nearby, providing a perfect spot for soaking after a day of recreation. The campground features 51 first-come, first-served campsites equipped with bear-resistant food storage boxes, with fees collected via a digital fee machine that accepts debit and credit cards. Multiple trails are available throughout the Granite Creek corridor for hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking. The campground provides water hydrants, vault toilets, and dumpster service during the operating season. Located approximately 33 miles from Jackson, Wyoming, the campground sits along Granite Creek Road in a scenic mountain setting. A smaller upper loop remains accessible year-round without amenities when the campground is officially closed. Food storage is required due to bear activity in the area.
