Open seasonally from late May through mid-November. Campground fees are charged through November 15. The campground is accessible year-round but only by snowmobile during winter months. No potable water or garbage service; bring water and pack out trash.

About

Frazier Campground is located 16 miles east of Ukiah, Oregon, in the Umatilla National Forest and serves as the northern gateway to the Winom-Frazier Off-Highway Vehicle trail system. The trail system offers over 100 miles of OHV trails for riders of varying skill levels. Trailhead parking and an interpretive sign are located in the upper loop near the Butcherknife Trail #3189. The campground features 20 campsites, including five group sites (sites 5, 6, 7, 9, and 10). Four accessible vault toilets are available, but there is no potable water or garbage service. Visitors must bring their own water and pack out all trash. A large day-use picnic shelter is located near the campground entrance. The surrounding area offers hunting, OHV riding, sightseeing, and photography opportunities. The Tower Fire Lookout is approximately 9 miles south of the campground on Forest Service Road 5226.

Directions

From Ukiah, OR, travel east on Oregon State Highway 244 for 16 miles. Turn right on Forest Service Road 5226. Frazier Campground/Trailhead is located about 3/4 mile up on the left.
