About

Flat Canyon Campground is a high-elevation destination at 8,800 feet on Utah's Wasatch Plateau within the Manti-La Sal National Forest. The campground provides easy paved access from Highway 264 and serves as a base for fishing, boating, hiking, and scenic driving in the area. An angler's trail leads directly from the campground down to Boulger Reservoir, while Electric Lake sits approximately one mile away for additional boating and fishing opportunities. The campground features 12 individual campsites and one group site accommodating up to 50 people. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring, and vault toilets are provided. However, there is no potable water on-site, and campers must bring their own supply. There is no garbage service, making this a pack-it-in, pack-it-out facility. Hazardous tree removal has opened up the canopy significantly, reducing shade at many sites. Several large spruce trees remain, and summer wildflowers are abundant. ATVs are prohibited on campground roads, and horses are not allowed in the campground. Pets are welcome but must be kept leashed.
