Deer Creek Campground is a dispersed camping area in the Superior District of Lolo National Forest, featuring 5 primitive sites with fire rings. Located at 3,200 feet elevation along Deer Creek Road near the St. Regis River, this campground is suited for small RVs or tent camping. The setting provides access to fishing in nearby waters, hiking trails, and seasonal mushroom and berry picking. As a dispersed site, visitors should be prepared for primitive conditions with no drinking water, restrooms, or trash service. This is a pack it in/pack it out location. The campground is accessible approximately 2.5 miles from I-90 via Exit 18 at DeBorgia, making it convenient for travelers seeking a low-impact camping experience in western Montana's forested landscape.

Directions

From I-90, take DeBorgia Exit 18. If westbound, travel south under the interstate to Deer Creek Road (NFSR 236). If eastbound, turn right to Deer Creek Road. At the Deer Creek Road intersection, turn right and travel approximately 2.5 miles, crossing the St. Regis River. The dispersed camping area is on the right.
