About

Cabin City Campground sits at 3,200 feet elevation in a cool, shaded forest setting along 12 Mile Creek. The paved campground features 24 sites split between two loops (A and B), with sites 1-6 in each loop reservable through Recreation.gov and sites 7-12 first-come, first-served. All sites are back-in only and accommodate vehicles up to 35 feet. Each site includes a parking area, picnic table, and fire ring. The campground provides potable water and vault toilets in each loop, along with trash services and camp hosts. A self-guided interpretive nature trail offers educational signage about the local ecosystem, and visitors can view beaver dams along the creek. The St. Regis River and 12 Mile Creek provide fishing and wildlife watching opportunities. Nearby attractions include the Route of the Hiawatha Bike Trail (20 miles), Lookout Ski Area in Idaho (40 miles), and Alberton Gorge (45 miles east). The town of St. Regis is 15 miles east, Superior is 30 miles east, and Missoula is 65 miles east.
