About

Clear Creek Campground is located in the Raft River Division of the Sawtooth National Forest at an elevation of approximately 6,700 feet in the remote Raft River Mountains of northwestern Utah. This primitive, non-fee campground consists of 12 individual campsites along Clear Creek, offering a quiet retreat far from crowds. The campground includes vault toilets and ADA-accessible sites, making it suitable for tent camping and RVs. The Raft River Mountains reach elevations up to 10,300 feet, and on clear days offer views of the Great Salt Lake, Snake River Plain, and into Nevada. The campground provides access to the Bull Flat Trail (No. 001) and Lake Fork Trail (No. 004), both popular with hikers and horseback riders. Several drainages in the area provide opportunities for fishing in small streams, and the region is known for hunting during archery and rifle deer seasons. As the only developed campground in the Raft River Division, Clear Creek offers a primitive camping experience with the remoteness and natural beauty that make this mountain range a hidden gem in northern Utah.
